presented by Pastor Bob Case. Monday, August 12, 10 am to 11:30 am at the Madeline Briggs University Center, Johnson St., Alpena, MI.
Adult Theological Education from NWLM Synod – “Witnessing to Christ and Love for Neighbor in an Election Year”. Presenter will be the Rev. Amy E. Reumann, ELCA Senior Director for Witness in Society in Washington D.C.
Registration is required by August 26. The 6 week sessions are Tuesdays, September 3, 10, 17, 24, October 1, and 8 at 7 pm to 8:15 pm via ZOOM and are free of charge.
Darlene Stone Memorial Service: Will be held Friday August 16, 1:00pm here at New Life.
Sewing Group: There will be no Sewing Group this Tuesday August 13 – Hope to see you at VBS!!

Prayer for and of the members of New Life: Loving God, be with us and guide us during this time of discernment. Fill our leaders, especially the Call Committee, with your wisdom. Lead us and guide us O Lord to be about the work of your kingdom even as the search for a new pastor continues. Bless all who have taken on extra responsibility and fill them with a sense of your love and presence. Guide those who are discerning their calls in ministry and put a “fire in their bellies” that one may be led to New Life. We pray in your Son’s name Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
