All are welcome at the Lord’s Table for Holy Communion. We have both wine and grape juice. The wine is red in color and the juice is gold. Gluten-free wafers are available; just ask.

Adult Christian Education: ACE – Meets on Thursday mornings at 10 a.m. The group is currently using the Lectionary lessons for the coming Sunday for their discussion/sharing which can be found on the back page of the Celebrate at the bottom under Preparing for Next Week.

May Giving Table: The May Giving Table will be collecting cleaning supplies, snack foods and hygiene products for Sunrise Mission in Alpena. Sunrise Mission provides housing, food, clothing and other essentials for families and single adults experiencing homelessness or crisis in Northeastern Michigan.
Boyd Byelich: Be sure to mark your calendar . Please join Boyd Byelich as he shares his experiences from his 23 trips to Ukraine to deliver humanitarian aid, Thursday May 21st at 7:00pm. There is a list of items on the table near the mailbox’s of what he will be collecting to take with him on his next trip.
New Life’s Children’s Craft Day is quickly approaching, and we are collecting items for our craft projects! Please see the list of items on the table near the mailbox’s.

Prayer for and of the members of New Life: Loving God, be with us and guide us during this time of discernment. Fill our leaders, especially the Call Committee, with your wisdom. Lead us and guide us O Lord to be about the work of your kingdom even as the search for a new pastor continues. Bless all who have taken on extra responsibility and fill them with a sense of your love and presence. Guide those who are discerning their calls in ministry and put a “fire in their bellies” that one may be led to New Life. We pray in your Son’s name Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
