- Bible Study: Thursday August 4th at 10:00am. There will be no Bible Study/Adult Ed on Thursday August 11th
- Choir Rehearsal; Wednesday, August 3rd, at 7 pm No Choir practice Wednesday, August 10th
- It’s that time of year again when we start collecting items for school kits and health kits that are distributed by Lutheran World Relief. Fliers are on the giving table by the mailboxes containing lists of items that are needed to fill the kits. Any way you would be able to assist us in this project is greatly appreciated.
- VBS Decoration!! Please join us following worship next week, Sunday August 7, to help decorate the church for VBS…Hanging Posters, moving a bit of furniture, putting supplies in a central location, creating a cave like atmosphere…If you have stuffed animal bats, moths, lizards, owls etc that would live in or near caves we would certainly put those to good use!
- Church Picnic: Please join us for our annual church picnic potluck to be held today following the worship service in our multi use space!
- If anyone would like to be available and assist the property committee in one time projects(faucet replacement, spreading mulch, meeting a repair person, etc.) or ongoing projects(weed control in the stone edging, checking for bees/wasps around the church, etc.) please let a council member or Pr. Chrisy know! There is also a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board by the kitchen.
- Are you looking for a way to serve your neighbor, your church, and the world? Consider being part of the Stewardship Committee. This committee helps to maintain the Memorial Garden, sends greetings to our college students, hosts various educational events and many other things. Please talk to Pr. Chrisy or another council member if any of this sounds like something you would like to help with.
