Welcome to New Life Lutheran! All are welcome at the Lord’s Table. Our Communion practice is intinction. What that means is that you will be given a wafer of bread and then have the opportunity to dip(intinct) that wafer into either wine or grape juice. The wine is dark purple/red and the grape juice is white/yellow. You are invited to use whichever you wish. You are also welcome to come forward and receive a blessing. Please indicate that to the Pastor with your hands folded as if you were in prayer when you approach.
Gluten Free Wafers are available for communion. Please let Pr. Chrisy know that is your preference.
Choir Rehearsal and Bible Study/Adult Ed are canceled this upcoming week due to Vacation Bible School
Giving Table Collection: It’s School Supply collection time again…Please consider donating things like paper, pencils, crayons, etc. Specifics on the handouts at the giving table!
For the next two Sunday’s, August 13th and August 20th, the NEW LIFE TREE Template, Guidelines, and Engraving Forms will be set up in the Narthex for your convenience. A member of the Stewardship Committee will be available to assist you. Those of you who may not be aware of our New Life Tree Memorial Program may refer to the article in the August Newsletter regarding the NEW LIFE TREE. In the meantime, please feel free to visit the TREE located on the far back wall of the Multipurpose Room. The engravings already on the TREE may give you some engraving ideas. Thank you.
Signup sheets for Sunday morning opportunities to serve the Lord are located above the drinking fountain near the main entrance. Please prayerfully consider.
