Becoming a member of New Life is a fairly painless process. It involves meeting with Pastor Chrisy, talking about your faith/church background, and if needed, explanation and discussion about what the ELCA is, believes and supports. We strive to welcome everyone from any faith background including those who have no faith background at all. We hope that you find New Life to be a place where you can ask questions and wonder aloud about faith, God, and life.
Associate membership is also available for those that only spend part of the year in the greater Alcona/Alpena area.
While we hope and pray that you do find yourself wanting to be a member of New Life, we also welcome anyone who simply wants to come and worship, and participate in the life of the church to whatever degree is comfortable to you.
